We had a rather unsatisfying ski season last year, mainly due to weather and my husband's crazy work schedule. It was just hard to get up to Vermont on very many weekends. We did get out to Telluride for a week, though, to see our son and get in some good skiing. That was the high point (in more ways than one) of the season.

Over the summer, I was able, again, to spend June-mid-September on Martha's Vineyard, and I've been sailing my little boat a lot, even racing.

We'll probably go up to Vermont for the foliage season soon, get some fresh-picked apples, and get the condo ready for the ski season. Let's hope for decent snow this year in the northeast!

The highlights of my skiing last season was the heli skiing in Canada. I had a wonderful time. I have also skied locally quite a bit.

Over the summer, I got certified as a Divemaster by PADI. It was not that easy to pass the stamina part of the certification, but I somehow managed to make it. I did it in Dive Station (Orlando) over 11 intense days. Then I spent July in the Keys in Florida wandering.

In December I am going up to Killington to join the Projam, a skiing event sponsored by PSIA. It should be fun.

I look forward to skiing again this season.
